Join the UAE team as an Electrical Draftsman producing accurate electrical drawings for architecture, interior design, and fit-out projects.
Coordinate effectively with engineering and other MEP disciplines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare electrical shop drawings, layouts, single-line diagrams, schematics, and details.
- Cover lighting, power, small power, distribution systems, DBs, panels, cable trays, containment, and electrical equipment.
- Coordinate electrical services with HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, architectural, and structural disciplines; identify and resolve drawing clashes.
- Incorporate consultant, client, and engineering comments; prepare and update as-built drawings for approved site modifications.
- Follow project specifications, standards, and authority requirements; coordinate with engineers, site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Maintain revisions and documentation, delivering drawings to agreed schedules and quality standards.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of relevant Electrical Draftsman experience.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Drafting, or a related discipline.
- Advanced AutoCAD proficiency; practical Revit MEP experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of lighting, power, distribution, containment, low-voltage systems, MEP coordination, and technical drawing standards.
- Experience preparing shop, coordination, and as-built drawings; UAE project experience is mandatory.
- Fit-out, interior design, architecture, or consultancy project experience is preferred.
- Ability to interpret engineering specifications, architectural drawings, and technical documents; detail-oriented and accurate.
- Good communication and coordination skills; able to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 7,000–8,000 per month.
