Drawlines Engineering Consult seeks a Mechanical Draftsman in Doha, Qatar.
The posting states 3–5 years of experience.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare detailed HVAC shop drawings, including ducting layouts, sections, and schematics.
- Develop internal and external drainage network drawings to project specifications.
- Produce coordination drawings with other MEP disciplines.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and design concepts.
- Ensure drawings meet project standards, codes, and client requirements.
- Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and project teams.
- Maintain organized documentation of drawings and revisions.
- Coordinate with site teams to ensure design accuracy and practicality.
Requirements
- Diploma or certification in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven Mechanical Draftsman experience; MEP project experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and internal and external drainage.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and related drafting tools.
- Understanding of MEP coordination and industry standards.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively.
