Drawlines Consult WLL is seeking an experienced Civil Inspector for road project supervision.
The role focuses on construction supervision, inspection, and quality control, not design.

Inspection and supervision
- Inspect road construction and infrastructure works, including formation, earthworks, subgrade, sub-base, road base, asphalt paving, kerbs, and footpaths.
- Supervise roadwork for compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Monitor contractors against approved method statements and inspection procedures.
- Review inspection requests and verify completed works before recommending approval.
- Check materials and workmanship against quality requirements.
Coordination and records
- Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, contractors, and QA/QC teams to resolve site issues.
- Identify non-conformities and follow up corrective actions.
- Maintain inspection reports, site records, and quality documentation.
- Monitor progress and report construction issues to the supervision team.
- Support project handover, snagging, and final inspections; ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance.
Qualifications and experience
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- At least 10 years of road construction supervision experience.
- Valid Ashghal approval is mandatory.
- Strong road and infrastructure inspection experience and knowledge of construction methods, materials, specifications, and quality standards.
- Experience in site supervision and construction quality inspections.
- Ability to interpret approved construction drawings and technical specifications.
- Good reporting, coordination, and communication skills.
- Hands-on road project supervision is essential; design experience alone does not qualify.
