Drawlines Consult seeks an experienced HSE Supervisor to oversee project-site HSE activities.
The role ensures compliance with company procedures, client requirements, and applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily HSE activities at project sites.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and client requirements.
- Conduct site inspections, safety observations, and workplace audits; identify hazards and drive corrective and preventive action.
- Monitor PTW, risk assessments, and method statements.
- Conduct or participate in toolbox talks, safety meetings, and HSE training.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions; prepare reports.
- Ensure emergency response and safety procedures are implemented.
- Monitor PPE use and site safety compliance; coordinate with site teams to resolve HSE issues.
- Maintain HSE records and support internal and client audits.
- Promote a strong safety culture and maintain environmental and housekeeping requirements.
- Provide HSE guidance and support to site personnel.
Qualifications and requirements
- At least 10 years of HSE or safety experience, including significant supervisory experience.
- Oil & Gas industry experience is mandatory.
- Relevant diploma or degree in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant HSE qualification or certification; NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent is described as preferred/required as applicable.
- Strong knowledge of HSE procedures, risk assessment, PTW, toolbox talks, incident investigation, and site inspections.
- Experience on Oil & Gas projects and industrial or construction sites.
- Knowledge of applicable HSE standards and client requirements.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- Current availability in Qatar and short-notice joining are preferred.
