Seeking an experienced MEP BIM Modeler to join the team in Dubai, UAE.
The role develops and coordinates MEP BIM models, prepares construction documentation, supports site teams, and resolves coordination and installation issues.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, update, and maintain MEP BIM models using Revit MEP.
- Model and coordinate HVAC, plumbing, and other MEP services.
- Coordinate MEP services with architectural, structural, and other engineering disciplines.
- Perform clash detection and BIM coordination using Navisworks.
- Prepare shop drawings, layouts, sections, details, and as-built models.
- Review drawings, specifications, and engineering requirements; coordinate with project and site teams to resolve issues.
- Conduct site visits and inspections, verify conditions, and update models.
- Support site teams; incorporate design changes and engineering comments.
- Ensure compliance with project standards, specifications, and LOD requirements; maintain revisions and documentation.
Requirements
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant MEP BIM Modeler experience.
- Strong proficiency in Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks; good understanding of MEP systems and construction practices.
- Mandatory hands-on MEP site experience; candidates without relevant site experience will not be considered.
- Experience coordinating with site teams and resolving installation issues.
- Ability to interpret MEP drawings, specifications, and technical documents; knowledge of BIM coordination and clash detection.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- UAE/GCC project experience is preferred.
