AIDA builds applications, workflow automation, and generative and agentic AI solutions that transform Audit & Assurance work.
The role provides senior technical leadership and helps establish engineering foundations for scalable, secure, intuitive products.
Responsibilities
- Build full-stack applications, Python automation, APIs, integrations, and AI-powered features for Audit & Assurance.
- Design agentic workflows and select appropriate software, automation, or AI approaches.
- Maintain reliable, secure production systems; lead engineering practices, design reviews, and developer mentoring.
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of software engineering experience designing and operating production applications.
- Strong full-stack and Python development experience, including business-process automation and system integration.
- Production generative AI and agentic AI experience, including RAG, evaluation, testing, guardrails, and human oversight.
- Experience with APIs, distributed applications, data stores, a major cloud platform, containers, and CI/CD.
- Strong engineering judgment, communication, and collaborative technical leadership.
Additional experience
- AI orchestration frameworks, vector databases, enterprise search, MCP, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, or AI-assisted development are advantageous.
- Responsible AI, governance, security, compliance, or audit and other regulated-process experience is advantageous.
Work model and locations
- The work model is hybrid.
- Primary location is Toronto, Ontario; Calgary, Alberta is also available.
Compensation
- The stated salary range is $88,000–$158,000; eligible employees may participate in a bonus program. No salary cadence is specified.
