Procurement Manager - BESS role within the Renewables IC.
The role oversees end-to-end supply-chain processes for solar and BESS EPC projects.

Procurement and supplier management
- Lead procurement of solar equipment, materials, and services for projects.
- Negotiate with suppliers and establish relationships supporting competitive pricing and quality standards.
- Monitor the global solar market for suppliers, trends, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain vendor relationships, review performance, and resolve delivery, quality, or cost issues.
Logistics, inventory, and cost control
- Oversee logistics, transportation, and warehousing of solar materials and equipment.
- Ensure timely delivery to project sites while managing transportation costs and risks.
- Coordinate supply-chain operations with project managers and project timelines.
- Manage inventory and optimize stock to reduce excess inventory and associated costs.
- Recommend cost reductions without compromising quality or delivery timelines and manage the procurement budget.
Risk, team, and compliance
- Identify supply-chain disruption risks and develop contingency plans for critical materials.
- Lead, mentor, and train supply-chain professionals; set performance goals and conduct evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with procurement, logistics, and safety regulations.
- Maintain records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier communications.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of supply-chain management experience.
- A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- The posting also lists Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (BEE) as the minimum qualification.
- Experience in BESS, solar, renewable energy, or EPC industries is strongly preferred.
- Supply chain management certification such as CSCP or CPSM.
