Manager, People Operations – APAC

Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the APAC People Operations team through coaching, guidance, and career development.
• Oversee onboarding, offboarding, HRIS transactions, employee changes, benefits, and immigration processes.
• Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies across APAC locations.
• Drive process improvements and automation across the employee lifecycle, including Workday workflows, JIRA ticketing, and onboarding platforms.
• Manage employee and manager support, regional vendors, training programs, audits, strategic projects, and HR reporting.

Qualifications and skills

• 6–8+ years of progressive HR or People Operations experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or team lead capacity.
• Experience delivering People Operations services in a high-growth environment.
• Strong knowledge of HR practices and compliance requirements across multiple APAC countries.
• Workday experience is preferred, with other HRIS experience also relevant.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong project management, analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
• A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.
