Manager - Operational Excellence & Change Delivery

Role and business area

Key responsibilities

• Identify performance improvements, define project goals and scope, and secure stakeholder buy-in.
• Plan, direct, and deliver projects within agreed timelines and budgets, using appropriate plans, documentation, and milestones.
• Deploy Operational Excellence and Lean Six Sigma initiatives and apply project methods to large-scale change.
• Train and coach employees in Operational Excellence and Lean Six Sigma; meet ISO requirements and support certification.
• Prepare stakeholder reports, proposals, requirements, documentation, and presentations.
• Monitor project KPIs and conduct post-project reviews against baseline metrics and market benchmarks.
• Manage stakeholder communications, lead project teams, and manage scope changes, risks, and contingency plans.
• Coach and motivate project team members to take accountability for assigned work.

Experience and qualifications

• At least 7 years of project management experience; financial services experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• An MBA or other master’s degree is an advantage.
• Strong finance knowledge and understanding of banking regulatory frameworks, distribution, products, sales management, customer solutions, and banking risks.
• Strong project management, organizational, documentation, storyboarding, communication, leadership, interpersonal, and multicultural skills.
