Key responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide technology, operational resilience, and risk transformation initiatives.
• Coordinate stakeholders and workstreams across Technology, Risk, Operations, and Business functions.
• Drive the Operational Resilience and Risk Transformation roadmap across business units.
• Lead risk assessments and resilience reviews, tracking outcomes through governance.
• Establish governance forums and working groups; monitor progress, escalate issues, and support decisions.
• Prepare executive- and board-level reporting, risk assessments, KPIs, milestones, and governance decisions.
• Challenge stakeholders and recommend action to resolve risks and issues.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and monitor programme delivery against timelines and objectives.
• Support resilience testing, scenario planning, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement.
• Build senior stakeholder relationships, lead governance discussions, and oversee programme reporting and dashboards.
• Support regulatory, audit, and review activities and manage actions through closure.
• Manage team objectives through performance management, coaching, and development of direct reports.

Candidate experience and qualifications

• At least 8 years of banking or financial-services experience, including significant exposure to transformation, operational resilience, enterprise change, risk, or governance programmes.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional transformation involving technology, risk, operations, and business stakeholders.
• Strong programme and project management experience from planning through execution.
• Experience preparing executive- and board-level reporting, governance packs, and management information.
• Understanding of risk management, operational resilience, governance frameworks, and financial-services regulatory expectations.
• Experience in first-line, second-line, or operational resilience functions within a regulated financial institution.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders, challenge constructively, operate independently, and make sound recommendations.
• CORM, CORP, FRM, CRM, or an equivalent accredited qualification is listed as an option.
