Systems Officer role in ADCB’s Group Business Services team, supporting internal users and the bank’s digital workplace.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first-level IT help desk support for calls, service requests, and technical queries.
- Resolve incidents through phone, email, and ticketing channels according to service levels.
- Manage shared service mailboxes and ensure prompt acknowledgment, assignment, and resolution.
- Support hardware, software, and digital workplace issues across a 24/7 shift environment.
- Use IT support tools to resolve end-user incidents.
- Coordinate with technology teams to resolve issues and restore services.
- Follow IT support processes, operational procedures, and customer service standards.
Experience and qualifications
- At least 2 years of banking experience, including at least 1 year in customer service or an IT service desk.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience handling high call volumes, technical requests, and customer interactions across multiple channels.
- Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work shifts covering evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
