The Team and Role

How You Will Contribute

• Lead complex ORM and ERM engagements end-to-end, including framework design, risk assessment, control testing, remediation, and delivery management.
• Design integrated risk frameworks linking principal risks to operational taxonomies, process and control libraries, and risk registers.
• Lead enterprise risk identification across strategic, financial, regulatory, technology, and emerging risks.
• Deliver Safety Culture assessments, HSE management system reviews, leadership training, and coaching.
• Develop risk appetite statements and operational tolerances, KRIs, thresholds, and escalation protocols.
• Facilitate RCSAs, challenge risk ratings, and map controls to risks; test controls and agree prioritized remediation plans.
• Strengthen risk governance, second-line oversight, policies, incident and issue management, and executive and board reporting.
• Deliver control assurance, thematic and deep-dive reviews, and independent assurance over major change and transformation programs.
• Present findings to clients and internal executive stakeholders, including risk and audit committees, and challenge management constructively.
• Manage and coach junior team members and maintain quality of workpapers, evidence, and deliverables.
• Develop client relationships and contribute to proposals, pitches, new business prospects, and thought leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, risk management, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of operational and enterprise risk experience from the first or second line, internal audit, or consulting.
• Hands-on ownership of a risk framework or components such as taxonomy, registers, appetite, KRIs, and control libraries.
• Experience running RCSAs and testing control design and operating effectiveness.
• Experience with operational risk event and loss data, incident management, root-cause and scenario analysis, risk appetite, emerging risk assessments, and board-level reporting.
• Working knowledge of frameworks and regulatory expectations such as ISO 31000, ISO 17776, and operational resilience regimes.
• Professional ERM or ISO 31000 qualification held or in progress.
• Experience engaging risk and audit committees, regulators, and second- and third-line functions.
• Strong communication, objectivity, independence, constructive challenge, analytical problem-solving, business acumen, and a collaborative, results-driven approach.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Experience in Psychosocial Safety, Process Safety Management, Crisis Management, Critical Risk Management, Change Management, and consulting is advantageous.
