Role and team

Key responsibilities

• Complete monthly close and post month-end journals; review monthly reconciliations and resolve differences.
• Reconcile local GAAP and management accounts, and review quarterly intercompany reconciliations and invoicing.
• Coordinate with external advisors and auditors; support and lead local audits and timely financial statement submissions.
• Support corporation tax, transfer pricing, VAT, and other fiscal returns and filings.
• Support Middle East e-invoicing implementation and ERP integration, testing, data review, and workflow improvements.
• Maintain controls and regulatory compliance, including Local Content and ICV requirements; monitor regulatory changes and assist with ad hoc projects.

Qualifications and experience

• Qualified accountant with 5–7 years of industry experience; professional-services experience is ideal.
• Must have experience managing and leading the entire audit cycle.
• Experience in an international multi-site business, with FX transaction exposure, and support for local GAAP financial statements.
• VAT preparation, review, and submission experience is desirable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced with global ERP systems.
• Excellent English communication; able to manage deadlines, priorities, stakeholders, and detailed large-data work.
