The Maintenance Technician role is based in Dubai, UAE.
Employment is permanent. The notice period is limited to 30 days.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, test, repair, and maintain electronic equipment and control systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, upgrades, and modifications.
- Maintain traffic and CCTV cameras, RFID readers, laser scanners, UPS systems, access control systems, and computer equipment.
- Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical drawings, and equipment manuals.
- Use testing equipment, oscilloscopes, soldering tools, and diagnostic instruments.
- Support Linux and Windows systems, routers, switches, network equipment, and communication protocols.
- Attend roadside gantry sites for emergency repairs, preventive maintenance, cleaning, and calibration.
- Maintain records, system logs, and technical reports; follow health, safety, and quality procedures.
Qualifications and requirements
- Diploma in Electronics, Digital Equipment, or PLC Systems.
- At least 2 years of relevant electronic control systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance experience.
- Working knowledge of electronic circuits, networking hardware, and computer systems.
- Familiarity with Linux, Windows, MS-DOS, Microsoft Office, and communication protocols.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills; good written and verbal English.
- Able to work independently, collaborate with the maintenance team, and respond to urgent maintenance needs.
- A valid UAE driving license is highly preferred.
