Role overview

Security and emergency duties

• Patrol the property, secure rooms, assist guests with room access, and escort unwelcome persons off the property.
• Conduct emergency drills, safety inspections, investigations, interviews, and key-control audits.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems and document access to secured areas.
• Respond to accidents and emergencies; contact emergency services or provide first aid or CPR as needed.
• Prepare reports, safeguard confidential information, resolve disturbances and hazards, and handle complaints.
• Ensure compliance with alcoholic beverage control laws and use proper emergency response codes.
• Assist management with employee training, motivation, and coaching.

Guest service and workplace duties

• Welcome guests, address their service needs, communicate professionally, and support colleagues and shared team goals.
• Follow company policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions, complete safety training, and protect company property and confidential information.
• Maintain a clean, professional appearance and meet quality standards.
• Use computers and point-of-sale systems and inspect tools, equipment, and machines.
• Remain able to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods; move through confined, elevated, uneven, or slippery spaces; and lift or carry objects as described.

Preferred qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• At least 2 years of related work experience and at least 1 year of supervisory experience are preferred.
• An SIRA license is listed as preferred.
• The role requires reading and visually checking information, inspecting equipment, and using computers or point-of-sale systems.
• The role requires physical mobility and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance and heavier objects with assistance.
