Job purpose
Manage and coordinate logistics operations to ensure timely availability of materials and equipment for project execution.
Key responsibilities
- Plan movement of materials, equipment, and resources to project sites.
- Coordinate with procurement, stores, vendors, and project teams to maintain uninterrupted material flow.
- Manage warehousing, inventory control, and stock monitoring.
- Handle transportation, freight forwarding, customs clearance, and import/export documentation.
- Monitor logistics costs and implement efficiency and cost-reduction measures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE requirements, and local regulations.
- Maintain logistics records and provide periodic status reports to management.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, engineering, or a related field.
- 14–18 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.
- Experience in EPC, construction, or renewable energy projects is preferred.
- Sound knowledge of warehouse operations, transportation management, and customs regulations.
