Job Description
- Design end-to-end logistics solutions for oversized, overweight, and complex project cargo while complying with transport regulations and safety standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, route surveys, and bridge or infrastructure load assessments for heavy haulage operations.
- Coordinate with project management, procurement, engineering, and site execution teams to align material availability with project timelines.
- Evaluate, select, and oversee specialized transport contractors, crane rental agencies, and freight forwarders.
- Ensure contractors and vendors adhere to quality and safety metrics.
- Perform lift studies, risk assessments, RAMS, and contingency planning for high-risk lifting and transport operations.
- Optimize logistics workflows, manage equipment utilization, and negotiate service-level agreements to control operating expenditure without compromising safety.
Technical Expertise
- In-depth knowledge of crawler cranes, hydraulic modular trailers or SPMTs, and gantry systems.
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings, plot plans, and engineering specifications.
- Familiarity with Incoterms and customs clearance procedures for oversized cargo.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills across technical and operational departments.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities in high-pressure site environments.
