Role overview

Lead hands-on local and regional festival programming as part of a dedicated full-time team embedded in the client’s Festival Programming function.

Support a flagship Saudi event in July–August 2027 and a further event in November 2027.

Programming and delivery

  • Lead programming involving Saudi and regional clubs, creators, grassroots and community competitions, Arabic-language and cultural moments, and local talent.
  • Identify local content opportunities from national moments, the host-city calendar, and community activity.
  • Integrate local content with the international programme and collaborate with the international clubs and creators lead.
  • Coordinate with clubs, creators, universities, grassroots organizations, and agencies; track relationships and commitments in the partner log.
  • Ensure cultural and regulatory compliance and address issues early in planning.
  • Capture local audience response to inform programming across both events.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years in gaming, esports, entertainment, or major live events in Saudi Arabia or the region, at Senior Manager level.
  • Experience across at least two live-event seasons.
  • Proven personal production of local and regional programming; only work personally produced counts.
  • Fluent Arabic and English are required.

Ideal background

  • An entertainment, community, or live-events programmer with strong existing contacts across Saudi and regional clubs, creators, and grassroots communities.
  • Established relationships with regional clubs, creators, communities, and grassroots organizations are an advantage.

Working conditions

  • Full-time and exclusive dedication to the client for the contract term, with no other clients or projects.
  • Option to work remotely on Riyadh hours, Sunday to Thursday, with travel to Riyadh and event locations as directed, or to be based at the client’s Riyadh office.
  • Must be in Riyadh for the full operating periods of the July–August 2027 and November 2027 events, whichever working option is chosen.
