Lead Guest Relations for a major international multi-sport event in Riyadh, covering readiness, event time and close-out through the end of December 2026.
The role is part of the client’s Guest Management function and reports to event senior management. It is a visible, on-site leadership role across venues.
Planning and readiness
- Develop and implement Guest Relations operational plans, SOPs, staffing structures and venue deployment strategies.
- Oversee recruitment, training, workforce scheduling and operational readiness across competition venues.
Spectator and guest services
- Ensure efficient entry and exit, crowd flow, wayfinding and seating assistance for spectators.
- Oversee guest information services, accessibility assistance, Lost & Found and Lost Child procedures.
- Coordinate athlete lounge access support, accreditation scanning and meal box distribution when required.
Operational integration and reporting
- Coordinate with Venue Management, Security, Accreditation, Hospitality and other functional areas.
- Manage escalated guest complaints, operational incidents and emergency response coordination.
- Monitor KPIs, daily operations, staffing performance and service quality, and provide regular reports and recommendations to senior management.
Role scope
- Lead Venue Managers, Supervisors, Ushers and supporting teams across competition venues.
- Be visible across venues and lead from the front once the event begins; this is not a desk-based role.
Location and arrangements
- Based on site in Riyadh, KSA.
- Visa, accommodation and transportation are included for candidates relocating to Riyadh.
