Works with minimal supervision within guidelines and procedures to handle specialized and complex litigation-related work.
Supports ZATCA’s litigation strategy through analysis of historical case data and contributes to functional milestones and operational targets.
Responsibilities
- Receive litigation cases from the objections team and help prioritize cases using predefined analysis criteria.
- Research applicable laws, regulations, and policies for each case.
- Sort objection cases and coordinate with sectors and divisions to identify requirements and implications.
- Collect documentation and arrange meetings with concerned entities to identify infringements and prepare legal submissions.
- Draft claims, counterstatements, warning letters, and legal responses to protect ZATCA’s rights and reputation.
- Study recurrent infringements and identify potential preventive actions.
- Conduct legal research, analyze relevant material, and review documents to identify and prioritize key issues.
Education and experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Law Studies or equivalent is required.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience is required.
Competencies
- Developing-level competencies include legal advisory, collaboration and communication, professionalism, research and analysis, results orientation, customer focus, investigation, and enablement of change and innovation.
- Broad taxation awareness and litigation are listed at proficient level.
