Data Management Lead Specialist

Role purpose

Data management planning

• Review NDMO-approved standards and policies and update ZATCA data guides to maintain alignment.
• Assess data-management needs and challenges, identify requirements, and define improvement areas.
• Define data-management policies, procedures, and guidelines aligned with strategy and organizational priorities.
• Develop awareness plans for data protection, automation, and storage, and establish data-management KPIs.
• Communicate data policies, guidelines, strategies, and plans to stakeholders and support understanding.
• Develop and install programs for metadata and information assets to support data integrity and quality.
• Define data owners and establish roles, responsibilities, and rules for data systems and breach traceability.

Data management delivery

• Monitor implementation of data-management plans, identify issues, and ensure timely resolution.
• Develop and execute improvement projects in line with timelines and management direction.
• Monitor improvement action plans and report compliance with data standards and policies to stakeholders.

Operations and people management

• Follow relevant policies, processes, and standard operating procedures.
• Help resolve escalated problems, support junior staff, and escalate complex issues to the appropriate person.
• Train junior staff when applicable, set direction and priorities, delegate work, and monitor workflow.

Education and experience

• A bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or equivalent is required.
• At least four years of relevant experience is required.
