Bartender duties
- Prepare drinks correctly and take personal responsibility for the guest's direct experience.
- Monitor market trends and evolving guest needs; bring new awareness to the beverage experience.
- Maintain the bar's appearance and functionality and take pride in beverage quality.
- Build relationships with hotel colleagues and the local community.
- Pay attention to money handled, information provided to guests, and the quality of drinks.
- Follow safety, company policy, confidentiality, asset-protection, and quality expectations.
Work conditions and conduct
- The role involves frequent standing, sitting, and walking, as well as moving and lifting objects up to 25 pounds without assistance.
- Physical tasks include reaching, kneeling, turning, stretching, and bending.
- Professional appearance and communication are expected; the role requires following workplace policies and maintaining confidentiality.
Desirable qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is desirable.
- At least one year of related work experience is desirable.
- No supervisory experience is required, and no license or certification is specified.
