The bartender creates a memorable bar experience through drink expertise, attentive hosting, and broader guest service.
Role duties
- Prepare quality drinks and maintain a bar that looks and functions flawlessly.
- Serve as a host, take ownership of guest service, and respond to evolving guest needs.
- Keep up with beverage trends and micro-local offerings.
- Build relationships across the hotel and in the community to anticipate and deliver on guest needs.
- Handle money and guest information carefully and maintain drink quality.
- Follow company policies, protect company assets, maintain confidentiality, and uphold safety and professional appearance standards.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested.
Qualifications
- At least one year of related work experience is listed.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
- The role involves extended periods on one's feet and handling objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
Work arrangement
