Teaching and academic responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate Management subjects according to School requirements and academic needs.
• Deliver lectures, tutorials, and other learning activities.
• Design learning experiences connecting management theory with contemporary business practice.
• Use case studies, applied projects, simulations, and experiential methods to develop student analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Design and mark assessments and provide timely, constructive feedback.
• Provide academic consultation and support student progression and success.
• Use learning management systems and digital technologies to enhance teaching and engagement.
• Contribute to subject development, curriculum review, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with academic colleagues to maintain quality and consistency across subjects and programs.

Qualifications and experience

• PhD in Management, Business, or a closely related field.
• Relevant higher-education teaching experience, preferably at undergraduate level.
• Demonstrated ability to teach a range of Management subjects.
• Evidence of effective, engaging, student-centred teaching.
• Ability to use practical business cases and contemporary organisational issues in teaching.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Confidence using digital learning platforms and contemporary teaching technologies.
• Ability to collaborate with an academic team and contribute to curriculum and subject development.

Highly regarded

• Experience teaching diverse international student cohorts.
• Industry, consulting, or professional experience connecting classroom learning with management practice.
• Experience with case-based, experiential, project-based, or simulation-led learning.
• Evidence of scholarly activity or an emerging research profile.
• Experience contributing to curriculum enhancement, assurance of learning, or academic quality processes.
