The University of Wollongong in Dubai seeks an Associate Lecturer (Instructor) in Civil Engineering for its School of Engineering.

Teaching and Scholarly Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate subjects in areas including hydraulics and hydrology, geomechanics, surveying, applied geotechnical engineering, solid mechanics, construction materials and Civil Engineering design.
- Teaching may also include project-based learning and other first-year Engineering subjects.
- Prepare and deliver tutorials, labs and workshops; support applied learning, assess student work, give feedback and provide academic guidance.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of teaching and learning and support student R&D projects.
- Scholarly activity and research collaboration may be pursued alongside teaching responsibilities.
Essential Requirements
- A Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
- Strong foundational knowledge across the Civil Engineering discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to teach and manage undergraduate classes effectively.
- Ability to use interactive and contemporary teaching approaches to support student learning.
- Applicants should identify the Civil Engineering subjects and technical areas they are equipped to teach.
Highly Regarded
- Recent higher education teaching experience in the GCC region.
- Civil Engineering industry or practice-based experience.
- Emerging or established research activity in a relevant Civil Engineering area.
