Role overview
Experienced Lead System Engineer supporting engineering systems and applications for oil and gas EPC projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead administration and configuration of engineering design systems for EPC projects.
- Integrate and operate SmartPlant suite tools, including SP3D and SPF.
- Prepare client-specific status and summary reports.
- Manage SMAT Systems and related engineering applications; support users and troubleshoot issues across disciplines.
- Work with engineering teams to optimize workflows and maintain data integrity.
- Develop system standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Coordinate upgrades, patches, and security compliance with IT and project teams.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of proven experience as a SmartPlant System Administrator.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SMAT Systems, SmartPlant 3D, and SmartPlant Foundation (SPF).
- Familiarity with engineering data management and integration processes; excellent problem-solving skills.
