Structural Engineering Leadership

• Lead structural engineering teams across assigned projects and allocate activities according to priorities, workload, and competence.
• Provide technical direction, mentoring, and support; review resource needs and report them to management.
• Monitor design productivity, deliverable progress, and milestones; maintain consistent engineering standards and practices.
• Support recruitment, technical interviews, candidate assessment, and professional development when required.
• Lead technical discussions and resolve complex issues, advising on systems, materials, analysis, and constructability.
• Maintain high standards of structural engineering quality, safety, and documentation.

Structural Design Management

• Oversee structural design for buildings, infrastructure, and associated developments from concept and feasibility through detailed design.
• Manage applicable structural systems and elements, including foundations, concrete, steel, composite, post-tensioned, masonry, retaining, basement, underground, roof, and external structures.
• Address seismic and wind design, durability, robustness, fire resistance, construction-stage considerations, strengthening, temporary works interfaces, constructability, maintainability, and value engineering.

Analysis and Design Deliverables

• Ensure appropriate development, analysis, checking, and review of models, calculations, reports, load assessments, load combinations, and stability analyses.
• Oversee applicable wind, seismic, foundation, soil-structure interaction, reinforced concrete, steel, connection, composite, retaining wall, basement, and underground structure design.
• Lead or review framing and foundation plans, column, beam, slab and roof layouts, elevations, sections, structural details, and reinforcement schedules.
• Lead or review steel fabrication and erection drawings where applicable, specifications, bills of quantities, tender documentation, and authority submission packages.
• Ensure all structural documentation is coordinated, technically accurate, adequately checked, and suitable for the relevant project stage.

Requirements

• Structural engineering experience sufficient to lead a structural engineering team and provide technical direction.
• Ability to oversee structural design for buildings, infrastructure, and associated developments across applicable project stages.
• Ability to review structural analyses, calculations, drawings, specifications, and related technical deliverables.
• Ability to maintain structural engineering quality, safety, standards, and documentation practices.
