About the company

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee project HSE plans, procedures, KPIs, and compliance monitoring across applicable workstreams.
• Review contractor and consultant HSE submissions; monitor HSE performance, audits, and closeout actions.
• Lead HSE risk reviews, incident reporting, lessons learned, and emergency preparedness coordination.
• Advise project management leadership on HSE risks, legal requirements, and corrective actions.
• Promote a proactive HSE culture and stop work when unsafe conditions exist.

Quality and HSE responsibilities

• Support resources and commitment for the quality management system; ensure legal, standards, ethical, and QMS compliance and continuous improvement.
• Implement company safety programs and follow HSE policies, procedures, and applicable legal requirements.
• Maintain organized, hazard-free work areas; promptly report hazards, faults, deviations, and incidents.
• Participate in operational controls and incident investigations; cooperate on safety matters and stop work when conditions are unsafe.

Qualifications

• Specialty: health, safety, and environmental governance, compliance monitoring, and HSE reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, HSE, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• NEBOSH IGC/Diploma, IOSH, and ISO 45001/14001 training are preferred; Saudi HSE regulatory awareness is required.
• Minimum 15 years of experience.

Technical knowledge and additional skills

• Technical knowledge includes HSE management systems, hazard identification, risk assessment, audits, incident reporting, contractor HSE oversight, emergency preparedness, and HSE KPIs.
• Additional skills include communication and presentation, quality consciousness, attention to detail, problem-solving, decision-making, results orientation, planning, time management, and relationship management.
