Lead Quality Assurance Engineer - Mobile Applications

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into robust end-to-end tests with delivery teams.
• Coordinate cross-team testing dependencies and configure test tools to collect program and enterprise metrics.
• Guide software engineers in maintaining automated functional tests through continuous integration.
• Implement and maintain automation frameworks and test harnesses; ensure quality gate requirements are met.
• Support major delivery initiatives across domains and environments while avoiding customer or business impact.
• Support team development, training, and understanding of technologies and processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a related field, or relevant experience.
• At least five years of quality engineering experience with complex, scalable software in digital, data, or enterprise domains.
• Lead and mentor QA engineers and drive quality across the SDLC using shift-left and shift-right practices.
• Strong mobile testing experience across iOS, Android, mobile web, and design systems.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of XCUITest, Prefire, Jetpack Compose Testing, or Paparazzi.
• Proficiency in Swift or Kotlin; both are preferred. Working knowledge of Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with AI-assisted testing, test data management, agentic AI, and intelligent test selection.
• Mobile accessibility testing experience, including WCAG, VoiceOver or TalkBack, labels, contrast, and usability.
• REST or GraphQL API automation, contract testing, and CI/CD pipelines; cloud and mobile device farm experience.
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and Figma design systems.
