Role responsibilities

  • Lead project business analysis, set standards and assure outputs for consistency, traceability, and alignment with government capability frameworks.
  • Produce reusable artefacts and analyse business rules, data models, user documentation, and complex requirements.
  • Represent the group in governance and design forums, mentor analysts, and collaborate with stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Manage dependencies, risk, compliance, and change; monitor delivery measures and improve analysis methods.

Experience and qualifications

  • Translate business needs into user stories and requirements; conduct as-is and to-be process mapping, gap analysis, and change planning.
  • Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders and leading business analysis, service design, and complex IT or digital services.
  • Degree in Computer Science or IT, professional-level Business Analysis certification, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Ability to design secure or air-gapped government platforms and knowledge of NCSC, GDS, and UK government security frameworks.
  • Able to lead co-design workshops and apply human-centred design methods.
