This hands-on technical leadership role combines AI architecture, software engineering, product ownership, and business value delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Lead AI product development from discovery and backlog prioritization through production deployment and measurable business impact.
- Design, develop, and deploy agentic AI, GenAI, LLM applications, RAG solutions, and intelligent automation.
- Work hands-on with Python, AI architecture, LLM orchestration, tool calling, and MCP integrations.
- Lead and mentor AI engineers through technical direction, architecture guidance, and code reviews.
- Translate business needs into scalable AI solutions with senior stakeholders.
- Define performance metrics, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, security standards, and cost optimization strategies.
- Drive product prioritization and technical decisions; promote reusable capabilities, collaboration, and responsible AI.
Required experience
- Typically 8+ years in software engineering, AI/ML, or related technical fields, including hands-on GenAI/LLM development.
- Strong expertise in Agentic AI, Generative AI, LLMs, Python, RAG, and AI solution architecture.
- Experience building and deploying production-grade AI agents, multi-agent systems, or LLM applications.
- Understanding of LLM orchestration, tool calling, MCP, AI guardrails, and LLM evaluation.
- Experience leading AI engineering teams while remaining hands-on; ownership of AI products from discovery through production.
- Experience with cloud AI platforms, MLOps/LLMOps, AI security, monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Strong stakeholder management, technical leadership, and business communication skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, AI/ML, Data Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred experience
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar agentic AI frameworks is preferred.
- Experience with Azure AI, AWS Bedrock, Google Vertex AI, or equivalent platforms is preferred.
- Aviation, travel, logistics, banking, or operations-heavy industry background is preferred.
- AI product ownership, AI strategy, business value realization, enterprise AI transformation, and relevant certifications are preferred.
Work setup
- The role is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, with a full onsite work arrangement.
