Job Summary
The Lawyer is responsible for managing and handling all legal matters related to the company, particularly in labor and commercial areas, with the aim of protecting the company’s interests and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The role includes providing legal advice, drafting and reviewing contracts, and representing the company before judicial and regulatory authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent the company before courts, labor offices, and dispute resolution committees.
- Prepare and draft legal memoranda, statements of claim, defense submissions, appeals, and other legal documents.
- Monitor and follow up on all legal cases, including coordination with external law firms when necessary.
- Provide legal advice to various departments, particularly on labor law and commercial contracts.
- Draft and review contracts and agreements to ensure legal compliance and risk mitigation.
- Support the Human Resources department in labor-related matters, investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Prepare periodic reports on legal cases and associated risks.
- Ensure the company’s compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, especially within the real estate and commercial sectors.
- Contribute to resolving disputes through legal or alternative dispute resolution methods.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or equivalent.
- Valid license to practice law in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (mandatory).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in legal practice, with a focus on labor and commercial cases.
- Strong knowledge of Saudi laws, particularly Labor Law and Commercial Law.
- Excellent legal drafting, negotiation, and risk assessment skills.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills in Arabic; proficiency in English is preferred.
