Job Summary

The Sales Unit Head leads and manages the effective implementation of the organization’s sales and commercial strategy.

The role is responsible for developing distribution channels, building and managing key accounts across local and international markets, and driving both existing and new revenue streams.

Working under the guidance of the Sales Manager, the Sales Unit Head ensures the achievement of sales targets while maintaining compliance with organizational processes and standards.

Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Develop medium- and long-term commercial and sales goals, methods, policies, and procedures aligned with the overall sales strategy.
  • Create and implement the sales strategy for assigned markets.
  • Support the development and implementation of strategies for Sales Officers.
  • Provide regular performance reviews, progress updates, and B2B analytical reports based on market trends, offering recommendations to the Sales Manager.
  • Ensure operational excellence in achieving KPIs and financial targets, contributing to a sustainable financial model and continuous process improvement.

Business Development & Account Management

  • Develop, manage, and grow commercial B2B trade partnerships to achieve sales targets.
  • Establish and expand distribution channels in line with the B2B sales strategy by engaging and contracting partners, including but not limited to hotels, destination management companies (DMCs), trade partners, airlines, tourism boards, tour operators, corporates, and educational institutions.
  • Manage contracting processes with B2B trade partners in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Specialize in and develop at least one international market, identifying growth opportunities and market trends.
  • Manage incoming commercial leads, converting them into contractual partnerships and revenue-generating opportunities.

Market Research & Reporting

  • Conduct ongoing research on assigned markets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities impacting sales performance.
  • Prepare market feasibility studies and commercial proposals, outlining targets, market focus, funding parameters, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor and report on sales activities and targets weekly, ensuring accurate and up-to-date tracking of team performance.

Financial & Administrative Management

  • Develop and manage budgets for assigned accounts.
  • Oversee administrative, commercial, legal, and financial processes related to B2B agreements throughout the year.
  • Ensure compliance with internal processes, policies, and governance standards.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Direct, support, and mentor Sales Officers to drive performance and professional growth.
  • Foster collaboration, knowledge transfer, and learning opportunities within the team to enhance engagement and organizational capability.
  • Meet minimum required sales activities as set by the Sales Manager.

Brand & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring a customer-centric approach across all projects.
  • Engage and manage internal and external stakeholders effectively to strengthen partnerships and enhance organizational reputation.
  • Support the development of attractive, market-driven products and tools that enhance sales enablement.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven experience in B2B sales, commercial strategy, and key account management.
  • Experience in developing and managing international markets is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and reporting skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
