Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi for a Landscape and Pools Engineer.

The role involves designing and detailing landscape layouts and swimming pool systems, including hardscape, softscape, irrigation networks, and water features in coordination with project architects and consultants.

The engineer will prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and shop drawings, ensuring compliance with relevant codes, safety standards, and client requirements.

Daily tasks include site inspections, supervising installation and construction works, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and resolving technical issues on site.

The role also includes preparing project documentation, supporting tender and cost estimation activities, monitoring schedules and quality, and collaborating closely with project managers to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in landscape and pool engineering, including design of hardscape, softscape, irrigation, drainage, filtration, and water feature systems.
  • Proficiency in CAD and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, or similar) and ability to produce and review technical drawings and shop drawings.
  • Experience with construction supervision, site coordination, and quality control for landscape and pool works, preferably on high-end or complex projects.
  • Knowledge of relevant UAE building codes, health and safety regulations, and industry standards related to landscape, pools, and MEP interfaces.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and detail-orientation skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines on active sites.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and clients.
  • Previous experience in the UAE or GCC construction sector is highly desirable; professional certifications or memberships in relevant engineering bodies are an advantage.
