Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Project Engineer role based in Abu Dhabi.

The Project Engineer will support the planning, coordination, and execution of high-end construction projects, ensuring work is delivered on schedule, within budget, and to specified quality standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing drawings and specifications, preparing technical documents, assisting with project scheduling, and coordinating with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors.

The role involves monitoring site progress, resolving technical issues, supporting procurement and material approvals, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

The Project Engineer will also contribute to progress reporting, client and consultant meetings, and continuous improvement of engineering and construction processes.

Qualifications

  • Strong project engineering foundation, including Project Engineering and Electrical Engineering skills relevant to building and infrastructure projects.
  • Proficiency in Project Management and Project Planning, including scheduling, progress tracking, and coordination of site activities.
  • Effective Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and clients.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related engineering field.
  • Experience in construction or contracting environments, preferably on high-end or complex architectural projects in the UAE or GCC.
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and relevant building codes and standards.
  • Solid organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a proactive approach to resolving site issues.
  • Ability to work on-site full time in Abu Dhabi and adapt to fast-paced project environments.
  • Proficiency in project-related software (e.g., MS Office, MS Project or Primavera, and basic CAD tools) is an advantage.
  • Commitment to safety, quality, and ethical work practices.
