Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Abu Dhabi for a Tender and Estimation Engineer.

The role involves preparing cost estimates, analyzing project requirements, and compiling tender documents for construction projects.

The engineer will evaluate supplier and subcontractor proposals and maintain strong communication with project stakeholders.

Additional responsibilities include market research for optimizing costs, assessing project risks, and contributing to value engineering to ensure efficient and cost-effective project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Experience in preparing tenders, cost estimation, and bids for construction projects.
  • Strong analytical skills for evaluating project specifications and understanding client requirements.
  • Proficiency in using estimation software and creating detailed financial breakdowns.
  • Knowledge in market research and value engineering to optimize project costs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for supplier and vendor negotiations, and strong communication abilities to liaise effectively with clients and consultants.
  • A solid understanding of contract terms, conditions, and construction regulations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the construction industry is preferred.
