Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization, including dishwashing, equipment sanitizing, and assistance with food preparation.
Help provide a safe and hygienic environment for the culinary team.
Responsibilities
- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Clean and sanitize countertops, sinks, stovetops, and other surfaces; sweep and mop floors.
- Assist with cleaning and care of kitchen equipment and check that it functions properly.
- Collect and dispose of kitchen trash and recycling according to sanitation guidelines.
- Organize and store kitchen supplies, dishes, utensils, and cleaning materials; notify staff of supply needs.
- Follow food safety and sanitation regulations, including HACCP guidelines.
Qualifications and experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but is not always required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines is beneficial.
Pay
- Pay is AED 1,549.01 to AED 2,085.32 per month.
