Job Overview: The Kitchen Equipment Technician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of commercial kitchen equipment including ovens, burners, dishwashers, refrigerators, fryers, and other hospitality appliances.
The role requires strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and commission commercial kitchen equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and gas-related faults
- Repair or replace faulty components and systems
- Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently
- Maintain service records and maintenance logs
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers when required
- Follow safety standards and company procedures at all times
Requirements
- Minimum
- 5 years of experience
- in kitchen equipment maintenance/repair
- Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Experience with commercial catering and hospitality equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot under pressure
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Valid transferable visa (preferred for local hiring in Qatar)
- Immediate availability is an advantage
