Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pastry Chef located in Tirana.
The Pastry Chef will be responsible for the preparation and baking of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
Day-to-day tasks include recipe development, ensuring proper food preparation and presentation, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, and adhering to food safety standards.
The role also involves collaborating with the culinary team to create innovative and visually appealing pastries that align with the establishment's standards.
Responsibilities
- Prepare a wide range of pastries, cakes, desserts, and baked goods
- Design and present high-quality dessert menus
- Maintain hygiene and food safety standards
- Manage ingredient inventory and kitchen organization
- Collaborate with kitchen and hospitality teams
- Innovate new dessert ideas and seasonal offerings
Requirements
- Proven experience as a pastry chef or baker (hotel/restaurant experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques and presentation
- Creativity, attention to detail, and passion for baking
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
- Team spirit and professionalism
