Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Food Server role based in Limassol Municipality.
The Food Server will greet guests, present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions about food and beverages.
Responsibilities
include taking accurate orders, coordinating with the kitchen, serving food and drinks, and ensuring tables are set, clean, and properly maintained.
The role involves handling payments, issuing receipts, and following hygiene, safety, and food-handling standards at all times.
The Food Server will work closely with the front-of-house and kitchen teams to provide a positive dining experience, respond to guest requests, and assist with opening and closing duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Communication, with a friendly and professional approach to guests.
- Experience or familiarity with Food & Beverage and Food Service operations, including serving procedures and basic menu knowledge.
- Basic Cooking awareness to understand menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods in order to answer guest questions accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tables, and maintain attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by restaurant operations.
- Previous experience as a Food Server, Waitstaff, or in hospitality is preferred but not always required; on-the-job training may be provided.
- Basic numeracy skills for handling payments and a good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
