Full-time Kitchen Crew position in a quick service restaurant.
The role involves food preparation and cooking, maintaining food quality and safety, keeping the kitchen clean, and supporting daily operations.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, procedures, and quality standards; meet required service times.
- Follow food handling, hygiene, and food safety procedures.
- Keep kitchen workstations and equipment clean and organized; operate equipment safely.
- Control portions, minimize food waste, and check ingredient quality and freshness.
- Store ingredients properly and follow FIFO food storage procedures.
- Receive, organize, and store kitchen supplies.
- Maintain speed and quality during busy service periods and support other kitchen team members.
- Report equipment issues, food safety concerns, and stock shortages to the supervisor.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and QSR operational standards; maintain a clean, safe, professional environment.
Requirements
- Previous QSR, fast-food, or restaurant kitchen experience is required.
- Experience in food preparation and cooking.
- Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills; ability to follow recipes, instructions, and standard operating procedures.
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays when required.
- Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
- Hardworking, reliable, disciplined, team-oriented, and willing to learn.
