Pharmaceutical Key Account Manager role based in Abu Dhabi.
Manage a territory and customer portfolio in a field-based role.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory and account plans to achieve sales and business objectives.
- Promote assigned products and provide scientific information to healthcare professionals in line with company strategy and compliance standards.
- Build relationships with key customers and healthcare professionals and identify business opportunities.
- Build understanding of therapeutic areas, products, competitors, and market dynamics; monitor market trends and share market intelligence.
- Develop customer engagement strategies and collaborate with Marketing, Medical, Market Access, and other teams on brand and account plans.
- Manage the territory and customer portfolio to maximize business opportunities.
Candidate qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Medicine, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of pharmaceutical commercial experience; MNC experience is preferred.
- Oncology experience is a plus; experience in Respiratory, Gastroenterology, Women’s Health/Gynecology, or other Primary Care areas is specified as suitable.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain healthcare professional relationships.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills; commercially driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently in a field-based role.
