Position and scope
Junior Project Engineer in the Operations team, supporting façade access, building maintenance, and rope access projects.
The role covers UAE sites, including Dubai and other Emirates as required, and supports site assessments, quotations, coordination, and project monitoring.
Site assessments and quotations
- Visit and inspect sites; collect measurements, photographs, technical details, and information for project assessment and quotations.
- Assess access requirements, work-at-height challenges, and project constraints; support site reports and technical documentation.
- Prepare quotation inputs, cost estimates, and technical proposals; review scopes, drawings, specifications, and related documents.
- Coordinate quotation information, follow up pending quotations, support revisions, and help submit accurate documents on time.
Project and operational support
- Support project planning and execution from initial assessment to completion, including schedules, work plans, resources, and progress updates.
- Coordinate with operations, project management, supervisors, technicians, clients, site representatives, and other relevant teams.
- Monitor progress against timelines, maintain project records, report delays, and escalate technical or operational issues.
- Support technical reviews, method statements, and risk assessments under appropriate supervision; follow health, safety, and quality procedures.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
- At least 2 years of UAE site experience; construction, façade access, building maintenance, structural works, or related services are preferred areas.
- A valid UAE driving licence is mandatory.
- Must be comfortable working at heights and visiting sites where work-at-height activities occur.
Training and development
- The company offers opportunities for professional development, including IRATA rope access training, subject to business requirements and training arrangements.
- The role involves developing practical knowledge of work-at-height operations, rope access safety, and project delivery.
Employment and salary
- Full-time, permanent role.
- Salary is AED 6,000–9,000 per month, depending on qualifications and experience.
