Role overview

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java, Spring Boot, and microservices applications; build responsive interfaces with React.js or Angular; develop and integrate RESTful APIs.
• Implement cloud-native solutions and support AWS and OpenShift deployments; maintain Docker and Kubernetes applications and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate across product, architecture, DevOps, and QA; contribute to technical designs, code reviews, security practices, and coding standards.
• Monitor and resolve production issues; contribute to Spring Batch and Autosys scheduling solutions; create technical documentation.

Required qualifications

• 6–8 years of hands-on software development experience, with Java full-stack expertise and microservices development and deployment experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and OpenShift.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of software design principles, object-oriented programming, and design patterns; analytical, problem-solving, debugging, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.

Technical expertise

• Backend: Java 11/17+, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, microservices, RESTful services, and JPA/Hibernate.
• Frontend: React.js or Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Cloud and platforms: AWS services including EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, and Lambda; OpenShift; cloud-native development.
• DevOps: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git.
• Databases: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL.

Preferred qualifications

• Large-scale enterprise application development experience and AWS or Red Hat OpenShift certifications are preferred.
• Spring Batch, Autosys, and monitoring tools such as Splunk, ELK, Dynatrace, or Grafana are preferred.
• Experience in BFSI, retail, telecom, or digital transformation projects is preferred.
