Full Stack Senior Java Developer

Role overview

Software engineering and architecture

• Design, develop, enhance, test, and maintain enterprise applications, web services, and system integrations.
• Build scalable client-server applications, RESTful APIs, microservices, and front-end applications.
• Review code, troubleshoot defects and production issues, and maintain third-party integrations.
• Design scalable, highly available, secure, and performant application architectures.
• Create data models, participate in technical design decisions, and produce technical specifications and implementation guides.

Cloud, DevOps, testing, and delivery

• Build CI/CD pipelines and apply DevOps, automation, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Deploy and support applications on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and manage containerized environments.
• Support monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance optimization.
• Create automated testing scripts and frameworks and conduct unit, integration, system, and performance testing.
• Work with product owners, analysts, designers, and stakeholders; participate in Agile ceremonies and support deployments and production stabilization.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements.

Experience and technical expertise

• Software development experience with Java, Scala, Python, C#, or C/C++.
• Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, Unix shell scripting, XML, REST APIs, web services, and full-stack applications.
• Experience with middleware or messaging technologies such as IBM MQ, IBM WebSphere, or Open Message Queue.
• Experience with Oracle or SQL Server, DynamoDB, and data modeling.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud; Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, or container technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git-based source control, DevOps workflows, and Unix/Linux administration.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent work experience is considered.
