Full-time Technical Team Lead / Software Engineering Team Lead in Qatar.
Leads software development for mobile applications, websites, dashboards, and enterprise systems, with responsibility from planning through deployment.

Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the software development team across mobile apps, websites, backend systems, APIs, and dashboards.
- Design scalable software architectures and technical solutions; translate business requirements into technical plans.
- Assign tasks, estimate development timelines, and monitor project progress.
- Review source code, maintain coding standards, and identify and resolve technical issues.
- Mentor developers on complex technical challenges.
- Make technical decisions about frameworks, programming languages, databases, infrastructure, and architecture.
- Review and improve existing projects and legacy code; manage Git/GitHub workflows and development environments.
- Oversee testing, deployment, servers, and production environments.
- Ensure systems meet security, performance, scalability, and maintainability standards.
- Coordinate between management, developers, designers, and project stakeholders to deliver work to quality and timeline requirements.
Technical knowledge
- Strong software development fundamentals and ability to work across technology stacks.
- Backend options include Node.js, PHP/Laravel, .NET, Java, Python, or similar technologies.
- Frontend options include React, Next.js, Vue.js, Angular, or similar frameworks.
- Mobile development experience with Flutter and/or React Native.
- Database technologies include MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL, NoSQL, and database design.
- Additional knowledge includes REST APIs and API architecture, authentication and authorization, third-party and payment integrations, and push notifications.
- Additional skills include Git/GitHub, code review, Linux servers, Docker, CI/CD, cloud and server deployment, architecture, security, performance optimization, debugging, and scalable systems.
Experience and requirements
- Previous experience leading a software development team.
- Strong hands-on programming background and knowledge of software architecture and system design.
- Experience managing multiple software projects simultaneously.
- Ability to understand different programming languages and technology stacks and review developers' code.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, leadership, and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication skills and professional communication in both Arabic and English.
- Six or more years of professional software development experience is preferred.
