Full-time IT Support Engineer role supporting Kazamer Tax Consultant’s day-to-day technology needs in Dubai.
The role provides timely technical assistance to employees and helps maintain reliable IT operations.
Technical support and systems
- Support employees with hardware, software, devices, business applications, and IT-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, applications, and other equipment.
- Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, network, and connectivity problems; monitor basic network performance.
- Set up user and email accounts, devices, and required software.
IT operations and security
- Maintain IT systems, equipment, and software documentation and keep IT asset inventory records.
- Perform system updates, security checks, and maintenance; follow IT security, data protection, and access-control procedures.
- Assist with data backup and recovery, manage support requests, and coordinate with external vendors.
- Assist with new technology implementation and improvements to internal IT processes.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Previous experience in an IT support engineer, IT technician, or similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of hardware, operating systems, networking fundamentals, and troubleshooting Windows, printers, software, and connectivity.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and common business applications, plus understanding of IT security and data protection.
- Problem-solving, analytical, communication, customer-support, prioritization, and organization skills are requested.
- Relevant IT certifications are advantageous.
