The IT Business Systems Analysis Manager supports enterprise business transformation and automation across Finance, Human Resources, and Talent Acquisition.
The role documents current processes, redesigns them to common standards, delivers automation with implementation vendors, supports organizational change, and integrates acquired businesses.
Key responsibilities
- Lead discovery sessions to document current processes, rules, exceptions, volumes, and effort across Finance, Human Resources, and Talent Acquisition.
- Identify process improvement and automation opportunities and build supporting business cases.
- Facilitate future-state process design and standardization.
- Support organizational changes and acquired-business integration, including process and system changes.
- Write functional and technical design documentation; partner with vendors through solution design, build, and deployment while maintaining requirements traceability.
- Develop and execute test plans, lead user acceptance testing, and support cutover and post-deployment.
- Configure and test automation solutions and retain delivery knowledge within V2X.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; one year of related experience may substitute for one year of education if a degree is required.
- 8–10 years in business analysis, process improvement, or enterprise systems delivery.
- Experience managing smaller system implementations or rollouts, including cross-functional teams, scope, timelines, testing, training, and go-live activities.
- Experience with ERP, HCM, and enterprise Talent Acquisition platforms; hands-on enterprise application experience and understanding of data flows.
- Experience documenting current-state and future-state processes in Finance, Human Resources, or Talent Acquisition.
- Experience authoring functional and technical design documentation and standardizing processes across business units.
- Experience supporting M&A integration or organizational restructuring and related process and system impacts.
- Strong written and verbal communication with business and technical audiences.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
Skills and technology
- Microsoft Office 365 Suite and ERP finance and HRIS systems.
- Analytical thinking, problem solving, adaptability, troubleshooting, and process-improvement skills.
- Ability to handle confidential business and employee data, prioritize work, manage deadlines, and collaborate across teams.
