Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Information Technology Technician role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The IT Technician will provide day-to-day technical support for hardware, software, networks, and peripheral devices used across Grovy’s offices and project sites.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and resolving technical issues, performing routine maintenance, installing and configuring systems, and ensuring secure, reliable connectivity for all team members.

The role involves responding to support requests, documenting incidents and resolutions, and escalating complex issues when necessary.

The IT Technician will also collaborate with internal stakeholders, assist with user onboarding, and support technology-related initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose, resolve, and prevent IT issues efficiently.
  • Candidates should possess solid Information Technology knowledge, including hardware, operating systems, basic networking, and security best practices.
  • Candidates should possess effective Customer Service skills to support users professionally, manage expectations, and communicate clearly.
  • Candidates should possess Training abilities to guide users on systems, tools, and IT best practices, both one-on-one and in small groups.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in an IT support or helpdesk role, ideally within a corporate or real estate environment, is beneficial.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, work on-site across multiple locations when required, and maintain confidentiality and data security.
  • Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent are an advantage.
