Respond to guest repair requests and maintain hotel equipment, building systems, and guestroom items.
The role covers preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, basic repairs, and guest service.
Maintenance duties
- Maintain tools, kitchen and mechanical-room equipment, and other machines through preventive maintenance and inspection.
- Identify and operate equipment and building utility shut-offs; maintain inventory and requisition supplies.
- Perform basic work across HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, controls, carpentry, kitchen equipment, and general building systems.
- Prepare and paint surfaces; repair minor drywall and wood trim; replace bulbs and A/C filters; clean repair areas.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment, plumbing, electrical components, and guestroom items; program televisions.
- Repair landscaping and sprinkler systems, and perform related housekeeping and inventory duties.
- Use Lockout/Tagout before maintenance work and follow safety procedures.
- Share shift updates, respond to guests, and maintain professional service and quality standards.
Qualifications
- A driver's license is required.
- Some general maintenance and surface preparation or painting experience is preferred; hotel engineering or maintenance experience is a plus.
- A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- Basic computer skills are needed for entering air-handler schedules and changing temperatures.
- The job involves stairs, ramps, ladders, reaching, bending, and moving objects; assistance is specified for heavier tasks.
Schedule and workplace
- Full-time position; the description states it is not remote.
- Work takes place at the hotel in Riyadh.
